Hearns Workshop Spot Welded Glasis Nuts and Bolts Sturmgeschutz StuG III / PzKpfw IV -45pcs, 1 types (HWS0092-16)
These 1/16 scale nuts and bolts are perfect for the Das Werk 1/16 Stug III, or any other brand of Stug III or Early PzKfW / Panzer that has the same bolts.
These 46mm bolts were used to attach the additional frontal armour plates added to the Stug III Ausf G to increase it’s survivability from frontal hits.
These bolts are 3D modelled from the original and include the spot welds that were added to stop the nuts from backing out.
Adding them is easy – simply remove the existing, under-detailed versions on the kit using your preferred method, mark the centre point, and then drill a ø1.5mm hole. Each nut is on a handy ø1.4mm stalk for easy location and application.
DISCLAIMER – Parts are manufactured from a UV curing resin. Cyanoacrylate (CA) or “Super Glue” recommended for bonding to rigid PS/ABS or other resin parts. UV curing resins can be an irritant. Always use the appropriate safety gear when handing or modifying. Parts are supplied still attached to the supports/raft. Care must be taken when removing supports. 3D printing IS NOT injection molding! Slight imperfections and the visible appearance of ‘layer lines’ in places is perfectly normal and not a defect. ‘Tough’ grade resin parts can damage fine bladed side cutters – use at own risk. For advanced modellers only.
