SUPER DECAL FOR 5 VERSIONS – PHOTO ETCHED – COLOR INSTRUCTION SHEET
From the famous HSS-1 “Seabat” anti-submarine helicopter produced by the American Sikorsky, produced since the mid-1950s, a version dedicated to carrying out tactical transport missions was developed a few years later: the HUS-1 Seahorse. The helicopter was widely used by the Marine Corps starting in 1957 and immediately proved to be reliable and robust. It could carry up to 16 fully equipped men or 1,300 kg of cargo. Thanks to its Wright R-1820 Cyclone piston engine, the Seahorse could reach a speed of 200 km/h. Its operational characteristics accelerated its diffusion. Also used by the US Army (with the initials H-34) a version was created armed with 7.62 mm M60 machine guns. widely used during the first phase of the Vietnam War.
