ITALERI 1/72 WWII U.S. INFANTRY
The 1st and 29th Infantry Divisions of the United States Army, part of General Bradlay’s Fifth Corps, landed on 6 June 1944 on the beach between Vierville sur Mer and Sainte Honorine des Pertes. The beach is historically known by its code name in Operation Overlord: Omaha Beach. The figures in the kit are represented with the typical individual equipment of American infantrymen: the M1 Garand rifle, the BAR automatic rifle, the Thompson submachine gun and the 7.65 mm Browning machine gun.
