ITALERI 1/87 LOKOMOTIVE BR50
The BR50 was developed from 1937 as a powerful “standardized” locomotive, capable of hauling freight trains on secondary lines. With a total of 3164 locomotives, produced by practically all manufacturers between 1938 and 1945, the BR50 was one of the most popular steam locomotives of the German Railways. Due to the War, the last production series were simplified and designated as BR50UK (Umbau Kriegslokomotive). The BR50 was developed to replace all the old locomotives in use on the branch lines. With an axle load of just 16t, the BR50 was of universal use. HO scale/1:87
