COBI WORLD WAR II – PANZERKAMPFWAGEN VI AUSF. B “KÖNIGSTIGER” (1000 PIECES)
Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B Tiger II (Sd.Kfz.182), colloquially known as Königstiger – meaning “” King’s Tiger “”, although the translation “” Bengal Tiger “” was widely adopted. It was a German heavy tank, the largest and heaviest used in combat during World War II. Production problems caused by the difficult situation of the Third Reich and constant air raids meant that in the period from January 1944 to March 1945, only 487 units of this vehicle were produced. The Tiger II was equipped with a powerful 88mm cannon. Thick armor, heavy weight, limited mobility, unreliable engine and destructive armament are the hallmarks of this huge tank. Despite its numerous disadvantages, the tank was extremely dangerous to any Allied unit and wreaked havoc wherever it appeared.
The model of the Tiger II tank, made entirely of COBI construction blocks, has many movable elements such as: opening hatches, movable barrel of a gun, or rotating wheels and tracks. A novelty is the mapped engine model that can be placed next to the tank or installed inside the model under the service hatches that can be opened! The advantage of the set consisting of as many as 1000 elements is a very solid structure that faithfully reflects the original shapes of its historical prototype. The tank has been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. This realistic model will be a great toy for young enthusiasts of history and armored weapons, but it can also be a unique element of any collection of an adult military fan. The set includes two figures of German tankers with accessories such as a brick with a map print, a new type of bullets, headphones attached to the forage cover and an ammo box. The set includes a brick with the name of the vehicle. In addition, the manual includes a special card with vehicle statistics that can be used in the Strategic Battle Game.
