The Mercedes SLC is a luxury coupé produced by the Stuttgart company between 1971 and the early 1980s. It was developed on the basis of the roadster and was characterized by its harmonious and elegant lines. The 450 SLC was equipped with a 4520 cm3 V8 engine capable of delivering 225 HP. Good performance was combined with the refined aesthetic research of the interiors made with “premium” materials in line with the positioning that the SLC had to have on the market. Starting from the project intended for the series, which achieved good commercial success, dedicated versions were also created for rally competitions with roll-cage, thicker rims and lighter bodywork to optimize the weight/power ratio and guarantee the best performance.
