ITALERI 1/24 OPEL BLITZ TRUCK
RUBBER TYRES – DECALS FOR 2 VERSIONS – COLOR INSTRUCTION SHEET
The Opel Blitz project was set up with the aim of producing, on a large scale, a robust and reliable commercial vehicle that could be used for different applications and uses. Opel began producing the first trucks, characterized by a typically American layout, at its Rüsselsheim plant at the beginning of the 1930s. Thus began the story of a great success that evolved over time until the mid-70s. The Opel Blitz, due to its structural characteristics, was also used by the Wehrmacht in the Second World War, both in the 4×2 and 4×4 versions. Its notoriety, however, was consolidated by the great commercial success in civilian use. In the post-war period, the Opel Blitz is also indispensable in supporting the recovery of German merchants, craftsmen and industrialists in their post-war reconstruction activities.
