SUPER DECAL FOR 5 VERSIONS – PHOTO ETCHED – COLOR INSTRUCTIONS
The JU-87 dive bomber is certainly one of the best-known and most famous aircraft of the Second World War. This characteristic “gull” wing aircraft gained great fame at the beginning of the war and is considered, together with the Panzer Divisions of the Wehrmacht, the symbol of the Blitzkrieg. The Italian Royal Air Force requested a supply of one hundred examples of the famous “Stuka” from its German ally to equip its ground attack and dive bombing units. Starting from the summer of 1940, the first examples of Ju-87B went to equip the 96th Dive Bombing Group. Nicknamed “Picchiatello” it later equipped other flight groups for a total number of approximately 150 examples in both the B2 and R2 versions characterized by greater operational autonomy.
