ITALERI 1/72 SCOTTISH INFANTRY NAPOLEONIC WARS
The best-known Scottish regiment is the 42nd Royal Highlander Regiment “The Black Watch” with the colors of blue, green and black tartan. The soldiers are depicted wearing the classic kilt, which has been issued since 1739. They wear the woolen Kilmarnock cap, and are armed with the standard smooth-bore “Brown Bess” musket of the British Army. The kit includes the bagpipers and regimental flag bearers. The Royal Highlanders “The Black Watch”, together with the Scottish Gordon Highlander Regiment, participated in the battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo in 1815.
