ITALERI THE LAST OUTPOST FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR 1754-1763
The Seven Years’ War took place between 1756 and 1763 and involved all the European military powers of the time. It was considered by many historians to be the First World War as the fighting also took place in the territories of the colonies owned by the European states. In particular in North America, in what is known as the French and Indian War, the French royal troops faced each other, supported by numerous Indian tribes allied to them, against the British and American troops of the “thirteen Colonies”. Both armies moved immediately with the aim of capturing and destroying the enemy’s forts and settlements. The war was very tough both due to the complexity of the operational theater and the ferocity of the clashes.
