ITALERI 1/72 WWII RUSSIAN INFANTRY (WINTER UNIFORM)
In February 1943, General Von Paulus’ German VI Army surrendered at Stalingrad. The victory of the Red Army constitutes an important turning point in the Second World War, becoming a symbol of Soviet resistance but also becoming a symbol of the horrors of war. The fighting on the streets of Stalingrad took place in the months of December and January at temperatures close to -40°. The winter equipment of the Red Army, significantly better than that of the Wehrmacht, was instrumental in the conduct of the battle.
