ITALERI 1/87 LOKOMOTIVE BR41
From 1936, within the construction program of the German State Railways (DRG) company, the BR41 class of “standardized” locomotives was developed for fast freight trains. During the test period the BR41 received the name “bovine locomotive” because it was used to haul rapid livestock trains. Subsequently, 366 locomotives were built, distributed among all German locomotive manufacturers. The BR41 was considered a multi-purpose locomotive. In addition to its own use – towing fast goods – its maximum speed of 90km/h allowed it to also be used for express passenger trains. HO scale/1:87
